FEATURED COURSE
Knowing the Context Is Only the Beginning.

Most clinicians recognize that a mother's mental health is shaped by more than symptoms alone. But knowing her context isn't the same as using it clinically.
Beyond Coping teaches a practical framework for turning contextual assessment into clinical formulation—and using that understanding to guide more meaningful intervention.
Because understanding context should change care.

MEET THE FOUNDER
The Clinician Behind Nest Together
Nest Together was founded by Mary Smith, LCSW, an Oregon-based clinical social worker specializing in perinatal mental health.
Drawing on her clinical experience working with mothers and families, Mary developed Beyond Coping to address a persistent gap in clinical practice: the difference between recognizing the circumstances shaping maternal distress and using that understanding to guide treatment.
Her work emphasizes thoughtful clinical reasoning, practical interventions, and care that reflects the realities of women's lives.

Why Nest Together?
Care That Sees the Whole Picture
People don't exist in isolation. Their relationships, responsibilities, resources, and circumstances all shape how they feel. We believe meaningful support starts with understanding the whole picture—not just the symptoms.
Grounded in Research. Rooted in Real Life.
Our approach brings together clinical expertise, evidence-informed practices, and a deep understanding of the realities of modern family life. Thoughtful care should be both clinically sound and genuinely useful.
Support That Creates Change
Understanding what's difficult is only the beginning. Whether through therapy, education, or professional training, we focus on turning insight into meaningful, practical change.
